On February 28th, I came home to my apartment on Wall Street. Mom and Dad say it’s kind of small and they aren’t sure where to put all my stuff, but I think it’s huge! Much bigger than where I’ve been living for the past few months. Haha, I’m so funny. I sleep in something called a Pack n’ Play. It has a bassinet on top so I’m up high close to mommy when I sleep. I guess when I’m bigger I’ll sleep on the bottom part, and maybe find out why it has “play” in the name? Right now, all I want to do is sleep. It’s hard being on the outside.
There is an enormous kitty cat here. Seriously she’s like twice my size. Her name is Spooky. I like her. I hear lots of noises coming from the street but that doesn’t bother me too much. I’m used to all the beeping machines in the NICU.
We have to take an elevator because we live on the 12th floor. Maybe one day I’ll take the stairs!
I’d like to explore the apartment some day. I see lots of neat stuff around. But for now, I’m just going to snuggle with my parents and drink my milk so I grow big and strong.
